FOOD Trip During the Break

I had Raya and mid sem break last week. This time, It’s all about FOOD!

17th August (Friday)

My cousin fetched me back in the evening. By the time I reached Yong Peng, it was dinner time. Before that, he said he’s going to treat me a good meal. So he brought me to a newly open teppanyaki restaurant. That greedy brother ordered a lot more than enough for us to eat! Full die me –.-

Food of the Day: Sambal Sotong, Ikan Bakar & Sayur Baku! Thumbs up

18th August (Saturday)

My parent and sister fetched me back to BP in the early morning. We had Bak Kut Teh as breakfast before we left YP. At night, dad’s brought us to Kitchen Twenty-One for dinner. So far, that place is my favourite Western Food Restaurant at BP!

Food of the Day: Bak Kut Teh at Yong Peng, Homemade Herbal Chicken Soup, Fried Dumpling from Kitchen Twenty-One! Thumbs up

Sunday – Na’s Family Day!

It was my grandma’s 79th birthday celebration. We had lunch with relatives at Sin Yang Restaurant. That was the usual Na’s Family gathering point. Never change! Luckily they did change the menu! XD

▲No fork and spoon. But wearing the gloves to eat Fried Pork Ribs

Parent and I took dinner with eldest bro and sis-in-law at 808, Bukit Perdana. No roti canai because of Raya break. So sad:( So I had signature Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken there!

Food of the Day: Fried Pork Ribs at SY Restaurant, Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken at 808 Thumbs up

Monday & Tuesday – Trip to Singapore! :D

We went in Singapore by taking lift from eldest bro who’s going back to work. Again, we had Bak Kut Teh as breakfast before we left BP. During the trips, I think all we had was Chicky Combo Meals – fried chicken, steamed chicken, roasted chicken etc. Uncle bought a high-tech Mahjong Table. From rolling a dice until arranging the mahjong tiles, it was all run electronically! Super cool right?

My sis and I had a chit-chat session with cousin at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves after dinner. The cousin planned to be an air stewardess after her studies. I supposed most of the girls have this dream in their life – getting free trips and travel all over the world!

Food of The Day: Fried Nian Gao Thumbs up

On Tuesday night, I went Juz Waffle to have dinner with Anlynn. That missy is flying to QueenMary for her law studies soon. I have to buy a smartphone to stay connect with her since i’m not flying within one year time.

Food of The Day: Spicy Nyonya Fried Noodles at Juz Waffle Thumbs up

Wednesday & Thursday –  Meeting the niece and nephew & Girls’ Wild Night! :DDD

Had been quite a while didn’t manage to meet the naughty girl since she’s staying at her grandma’s place. And the little Na Keven has become the giant baby!

Say “HI!” to the naughty girl! <3

▲ The BIG boss!

Since there are about 4 or 5 our close friends are flying to UK or Canada soon, we had a homestay at Taman Puteri Indah on Wednesday night. The house is much nicer than what i expected. It’s very cozy! We had steamboat for dinner and some alcoholic drinks. They talked more when they were drunk!

Favourite Quote: Some people in your life are just like dust in the air components. 0.03% in the air, so tiny and yet so important…

Food of the Day: Steamboat Thumbs up

▲ The Girls!

On Thursday afternoon, the Bumi-ians had the gathering. Nothing better to do: We sat inside the shop and wrote down what we wanna order, then we left for another place! I think next time all of us can never open a food shop. We will have this kind of customers! K.A.R.M.A

Mama cooked ASAM PEDAS for dinner! Thumbs up

Friday & Saturday – Meeting the old friends!

Anlynn and I yam cha with Jeremy on Friday night. 3 of the old friends finally had the right time to meet each others.

Had a gathering with Wendy, Pao, Wan Yi, Raymond, Dickson and Lionel at U Desserts on Saturday night. We chatted for more than 3 hours. Gossiping and bombing each others!

Food of the Day: Homemade Bread with Eggs, Blueberry Cheese Tarts! Thumbs up

I think this probably will be the last holidays that i could spent with the peeps who are flying in September. Forgot to give them a big hug before they leave! I wanna make them cry :P They had been so emotional for leaving Malaysia for at least 2 years. Gonna miss them so much!

Result Day!

The last time I experienced this kind of nervous & “heart-attacked” feeling was when getting SPM result.

This time I am going to get my Foundation year result.

Well… I just realised at the very last minute, the day before result released,

“I will be getting my result through SMS!” WOW!

The either way will be log in ACCA official website to check it.

but you all know la, L-A-G!

So, I had Law class in the early morning until 11.30am.

The result will be released at 12.00pm.

Our lecturer was saying: “You all have the numb look!”

Can’t help! If we failed any paper, we couldn’t continue with our ACCA papers this sem!

Have to be “back to Foundation” :(

Right after class, the gang and I went to Medan for lunch.

We all had no appetite although we were very hungry and we never say “NO” to FOOD!

Just about I wanted to swallow my first mouth full of food,

my phone buzzzzzz! and It was 12 o’clock sharp!

I stopped “feeding” the next spoon of food into my mouth

and everyone was starring at me.

(They changed the settings at official website, will be receiving their result through email)

The girl sat beside me was saying:

“Couldn’t be la~ Dont think so much!”

I expected it was from ACCA, coz nobody will msg me at that time!

So I open the msg, it was from a strange number started with +44…

and the next thing i saw was my result!

I PASSED!

A pretty good passed. Cant complaint anymore.

I was hoping for some award but i know i couldnt get it.

Well, tears didn’t shed as I got T3 result.

I didn’t put in effort from the beginning.

and so that’s the result I should get without any complaining. :)

Hereby I announced:

I’M OFFICIALLY GRADUATED FROM FOUNDATION YEAR!!!

Can’t wait for the Graduation Day!

I had been slacking before I got the result.

I remember one of the ACCA senior said this:

“They say it's graduation. I say it's a passport to study harder.”

It’s true. All hard work should start NOW!

Mission Completed! :D

Famine

#Famine30HourCamp #HungerNoMore #StadiumMalawati #Vsoy #Massimo

I know about Famine Camp from newspaper a few years ago.

I wanted to join it for a long time,

until when i saw a booth at Sunway Cafeteria in June.

I registered for the camp at the very last minute.

(one of the reason I join this camp is because of Lee Hom! He is the embassador for WorldVision!

And he’ll be coming to M’sia to support us!)

So my name was in the waiting list.

At last, I got a replacement place!

It was a 2-days-1-night camping at Sunway campus.

Feeling the hunger for 30 hours was actually not that suffering.

All the campers were provided Soya and Milo as meals.

But Treasure Hunt almost killed us.

We were running around Pyramid and Sunway Campus!

Goshh, running around the campus in the midnight is really very scary!!

The second morning, we went Stadium Melawati for counting down the last 4 hours of the camp with other campers from all over M’sia and celebrities, including Lee Hom!

The stadium was flooded with 18 000 people!

Well, i was so exhausted after joining treasure hunt.

I was sleeping through half way the counting down session.

Anyway, the atmosphere was good when you heard campers cheers all the way even all of us had experienced hunger for more than 20 hours!

Lee Hom was the last to perform and the only song he sang is “改变自己"!

“让我们一起大声地说:na na na na na!”

My song huh??

At 4 o’clock, our camp came to an end.

We started to drink Vsoy and eat Massimo bread!

After the camp, i slept for 14 hours long!

bloody tiring :(

Anyway, it was a good experience!
